Jared Peterson

Founder

Originally from North Pole, Alaska, Jared made the move to Kansas City in 2020 and quickly embraced everything the Midwest has to offer — including becoming a die hard Chiefs fan. He began buying homes in the Kansas City area in 2019 and has built his business around one core principle: putting sellers first.

Jared specializes in helping homeowners navigate complex or challenging situations by providing clear, honest options and customized solutions. His approach is simple — listen first, understand the goal, and create a path that works for the seller, not just the transaction.

He married his high school sweetheart in 2023 and enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing pickleball, golfing, and participating in local community activities throughout the Kansas City area.

Brandton Shriner

General Manager

Brandton serves as General Manager of iBuy KC and brings over a decade of experience in acquisitions, portfolio growth, and operational leadership. Raised in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, he purchased his first home at 22 and quickly developed a passion for building real estate operations.

From 2014 to 2019, Brandton helped two owners expand their rental portfolio to more than 200 properties while serving as Director of Business Development. He later stepped into a Chief Operating Officer role for a Grandview-based company, overseeing short-term rental operations, large-scale renovations, and strategic growth initiatives.

Today, Brandton partners closely with Founder Jared Peterson to lead operations and drive the continued growth of iBuy KC. Outside of real estate, he is a proud husband and father who enjoys golf, pickleball, and fantasy football.

Keaton Kovac

Community Outreach Manager

Born and raised in the Blue Springs area and now living in Raymore, Keaton is deeply connected to the Kansas City community he serves. A proud Chiefs and Mizzou fan, he enjoys spending his free time on the golf course and outdoors whenever he can.

Keaton’s introduction to real estate is personal. After witnessing firsthand how our company helped his own family through a challenging situation, he saw the real impact that honest, solution-focused guidance can have on people’s lives. That experience shaped his passion for helping others navigate difficult transitions with clarity and confidence.

As Community Outreach Manager, Keaton works directly with homeowners to turn what can often be a stressful season into a positive and empowering experience.

Laura Pingel

Transaction Coordinator

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she has called Kansas City home for over 20 years and brings two decades of real estate experience to the team. Her depth of knowledge and steady guidance play a key role in ensuring every transaction moves smoothly from contract to closing.

What she enjoys most about real estate is helping people achieve their goals while guiding them through what can sometimes feel like a complicated or overwhelming process. She is committed to making each experience organized, clear, and as stress-free as possible for the homeowners we serve.

Colin Kiger

Homeowner Solutions Specialist

Colin grew up in the Lee’s Summit and Blue Springs area and takes pride in serving the same community he’s called home for most of his life. His decision to enter real estate was driven by a desire to build meaningful connections and to be a steady, trusted resource for homeowners during both exciting milestones and challenging transitions.

As a Homeowner Solutions Specialist, Colin focuses on understanding each seller’s unique situation and guiding them toward solutions that align with their goals. He believes real estate is ultimately about people, and he is committed to making every experience as smooth and positive as possible.

Joshua Trimble

Homeowner Solutions Specialist

Joshua grew up in Lee’s Summit and has proudly called the area home his entire life. A graduate of Blue Springs South High School, he values the strong local roots and relationships that come with serving the community he knows so well.

Outside of work, Joshua enjoys watching sports, golfing, bowling with friends, and spending quality time with family. What he appreciates most about real estate is the opportunity to meet new people every day and help guide them through unique situations. He thrives on solving problems, navigating challenges, and ensuring homeowners feel confident and supported throughout the process.

Drew Johnson

Homeowner Solutions Specialist

Originally from St. Louis, Drew has spent the last several years building both his life and career in the Kansas City area. He brings a steady, solutions-focused mindset to every homeowner he works with.

Drew is passionate about the problem-solving side of real estate and takes pride in helping homeowners navigate complex or challenging situations with clarity and confidence. He values building genuine relationships and is committed to making the process as simple and stress-free as possible from start to finish.

Ashley Keith

Client Relationship Manager

Ashley grew up in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and brings a strong sense of community and connection to her work every day. She is passionate about helping homeowners navigate the selling process with a clear strategy tailored to their individual goals.

As a Client Relationship Manager, Ashley focuses on building meaningful, lasting relationships and ensuring each homeowner feels heard, supported, and confident throughout their journey. She believes that real estate is ultimately about people, and she takes pride in creating a positive experience at every step.

Nelly Gonzales

Seller Relations Specialist
